Notifications are a neat feature found on most of today’s smartphones. You can set them to alert you to a variety of events. This includes everything from receiving a new email message to letting you know when it’s your turn on an online game. With the release of iOS 5, Apple introduced the Notification Center to the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. This feature allows you to check all your current and recent notifications in one easy place, with just the swipe of your finger. You can also adjust how and which notifications will appear in this area, or whether they appear on your device at all.
