How-to: Clean up imported data in Excel

Microsoft Excel is a great tool for creating spreadsheets to organize and manipulate data, but sometimes you’re required to import or copy/paste data from somewhere else into an Excel spreadsheet, and it may not always come out looking exactly the way you’d like. One way to remedy this is to manually go through each cell and correct issues one by one, which can be very time consuming, depending on the amount of data to be edited. Luckily, there are a few easy tips and tricks that may save you a lot of time.
