How-to: Clear print queue

Printers can be one of the most fickle and frustrating devices that computer users encounter. There could be many reasons why your printer is not cooperating, but one of the most common is when print jobs get stuck in the print queue. The print queue is essentially the order in which print jobs are printed, and sometimes if there is a problem with just one of the print jobs, it can make it so you cannot print at all. There are a few different ways you can remedy this. Appearing below are links to Microsoft Support articles describing these steps. Just click on the version of Windows you have and follow the instructions provided. If this doesn’t get your printer going again there may be other issues occurring that may require additional troubleshooting.
