Passwords are everywhere these days, a part of our daily lives. We are expected to remember, not one, but several passwords in most cases. Unfortunately, sometimes we tend to forget a password or two here and there. The steps for recovering/resetting passwords is a little different for each type of password, but here is a link to a helpful guide provided by Microsoft on how to reset your Windows password:

Windows 7: windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Reset-your-Windows-password

Windows Vista or XP: windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Reset-your-Windows-password

Note: This is only for resetting your Windows password(s). If you need to change an email password, for example, there’s usually a link next to the login area on the email provider’s website.
