Parallels is a nifty piece of software that allows you to run both Windows and Mac OSX on your Apple machine. Some people just like the flexibility, some people need both operating systems for business related applications. With its newest incarnation, released for existing users today, Parallels Desktop 8 will support Windows 8, which itself will be officially released soon.
