Protecting your online privacy

Many people that use social networking sites don’t have a clear understanding of how their information is shared and who might be able to see it.  Facebook made some changes to the way your personal information can be linked and shared online. This article from PC World talks about the impact of these changes and how you can make sure your private info stays private.

You will also probably start seeing the Facebook ‘like’ button showing up on some of your favorite sites – I have already seen them on Pandora and Yelp.  There are some ‘big brother’ type implications to clicking this button that you need to be aware of:
