Policies

We welcome any comments, suggestions, questions, or complaints. Please contact us with them so we can better improve our service. We generally respond to all e-mail messages within one business day.

Cancellation Policy
Out of courtesy to our clients who wish for appointments, any cancellations must be made at least 1 business day in advance or we may have to charge a cancellation fee of $99.

Estimates
Labor estimates are available for many of our regular computer repair services. If you need an estimate for a service you have not seen listed on our site, or for troubleshooting a specific problem, please contact us for a custom quote. We do our best to provide accurate time estimates, and we will notify you immediately if we discover anything during your service call that is likely to increase our estimate by more than half an hour.

Labor Rates and Payment Options
Please see our service pages for services and rates. For service calls outside the greater Portland metro area there may be a mileage surcharge assessed. Payment is due when the service call is completed.
We accept cash, checks, American Express, Visa, or MasterCard. We charge a $45 fee on returned checks.

Privacy Policy
We collect your mailing address, phone number, and e-mail address for our records and our use only. Your information will not be released to anyone for any reason, unless required by law. We may contact you via e-mail periodically to inform you of special services we are offering, unless you ask us not to. Your credit card information is used for billing purposes only and will never be retained or stored by us.

Referral Policy
If you are happy with our service, please tell a friend and make sure they mention the referral when booking their appointment. We appreciate the trust you place in us and will make sure to treat your friends and family in the same courteous and professional manner that you are used to. We have even been known to send you a little something for the business.

Limitation of Remedies and Damages
CUSTOMER AGREES THAT UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL GEEKSAKNOCKIN’, L.L.C., OR ANY OF ITS AFFILIATES HAVE ANY LIABILITY WHATSOEVER FOR ANY COMPENSATORY, PUNITIVE, SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, LOSS OF PROFIT OR REVENUE, LOSS OF USE, LOST PRODUCTION, LOST DATA, OR COST OF REPLACEMENT HARDWARE OR SOFTWARE.

Customer acknowledges and agrees that the performance of certain repair services to customer’s hardware by GeeksAKnockin’, L.L.C., may void certain warranties provided by the manufacturer of such hardware. CUSTOMER ACKNOWLEDGES AND AGREES THAT UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL GEEKSAKNOCKIN’, L.L.C., OR ANY OF ITS AFFILIATES HAVE ANY LIABILITY WHATSOEVER FOR ANY ACTUAL, COMPENSATORY, PUNITIVE, SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES AS A RESULT OF THE VOIDING OF ANY SUCH WARRANTIES.

THE WARRANTIES SET FORTH ABOVE ARE IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ALL OF WHICH ARE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMED.
